History

Use the history link in the main or asset menu to display the history page. Note that history is only available if enabled by your administrator.

The history module will pop-up and show the following options :

  • Asset – Select the asset or group of assets to include in the history report.
  • Scan for assets – Search history for the selected range to identify which assets were active. This will take into account any limitations set below.
  • Report Type – Choose format of report. See following sections.
  • Search time interval – Report will be based on selected time period.
  • Find 100 most recent – Report will search for 100 most recent records.
  • Time shortcuts – Shortcuts to popular time intervals (when using a time interval).
  • Start/End Date – Choose dates for report.
  • Specify time – When selected, the exact time for report start and end points can be entered. Otherwise the beginning of the start date and end of end date wll be used.

We also have some very useful active filters you can use to filter the datas retrieved in the history which is very useful to only focus on a specific events or area for example :

  • Limit search area – Optionally select an area to search for activity. This area can be the current map view, or a predefined geofence. Note that records with no positions will be excluded from the report.
  • Limit search events – Optionally select an event type. Only events of this type will be included in the report
  • Limit to driver – Optionally select a specific driver to only see the datas of this driver in the vehicles selected in the asset drop-down menu (which could be a full group for example as a driver can have used different vehicles during a time slot)
  • Stopped Speed/Time – Parameters for detecting trip stop locations. These are used if the asset has not reported stop events.

Interactive Report

Use this report to quickly access asset history.

The list on the left shows historical records with newest at the top, while the map on the right plots the record locations. Selecting a point in the list/map will also highlight the point on the map/list. The map and table can be toggled on or off using the display setting. Information about the selected point is shown in the details section below the list.

  • Replay – Select this option to automatically move through the list and show the current location on the map. The Interval setting controls the update speed.
  • Single Icon – When selected, the map will only show the selected point.
  • Icons – Choose the icon style. Heading shows arrows indicating direction of asset motion. Speed/altitude change colour as speed or altitude values change. Network icons show which network was used to transmit the data. Event icons indicate events/messages. The sequence option causes icon colour to change as report time increases.
  • Map labels – Show or hide labels on map icons.
  • Click on the “Show Column List” link to choose what data to include in the data list. Select the desired column names, then click Update List to make the changes.
  • The printer friendly option creates a simple layout suitable for printing.

KML Report

You can directly output a KML file report that you can easily open or share over

Summary Report

This is possible to run some history over an asset or a group of asset and trigger a summarized view either in csv format to download or in html view to display on screen directly. This is possible to generate some global summary, hourly summary, daily summary, or monthly summary depending upon your need.

Daily Summary on a single asset over 1 week

Monthly Summary on a group of 2 assets over 2 months

Trips Report

Each trip is showing a stop address and a possible close POI or existing Geofence You also have a link to quickly generate an interactive view on a specific trip in the chart

HeatMap Report

This is a new kind of report that is superimposing on the live map directly and that is intended to deal with large set of data and display it as a heatmapping icons on the live map

Raw Data Report

This is mostly used for trouble ticketing and support / debug

Data Usage Report

Can gives you a data usage consumption charts per day (inbound and outbound traffic)
